Francisco Gomez
Francisco Gomez is a 22 year old tenor opera singer, a passionate vocalist and performer whose journey began with middle school musicals and blossomed through international tours with the Florida Singing Sons BoyChoir. He’s graced stages from Spain to Salt Lake City, making small appearances in his early years performing small roles in operas like The Magic Flute and La Bohème, and musicals including 42nd Street and The Addams Family. A four-time Florida All State Choir honoree, Francisco studied in the summer Musical Theatre and Classical Voice programs at NYU before joining the Manhattan School of Music. There, he portrayed Matthew Shepard in Considering Matthew Shepard, debuted with the New York Philharmonic in Holst’s The Planets, and performed with the Dessoff Choir. His recent roles include Monostatos in Die Zauberflöte and Prince Hilarion in Princess Ida. Up next: The Figaro Project with MSM’s Undergraduate Opera Theatre.
